Weddings in the South

My second cousin Heather got married at a beautiful beachside wedding at the Yacht Club.
It seems like recently, we have gone to as many beach weddings as we have indoor, church weddings.
{I have to admit, it has been nice to be able to enjoy the beaches while we still can.
Please pray for our beaches and the affect the oil spill will have not just on them, but on those whose livelihood depends on the Gulf ~ namely: my Uncle and Cousin who captain charter fishing boats.}

We love to get together as a family, and weddings are such a wonderful reason to celebrate. After all, Jesus' first miracle was performed at a wedding!

Tyson had all his farmyard friends to keep him entertained during the ceremony. He was such a good boy during the service and only tried to bolt down the aisle one time.

Here's the happy and beautiful couple!

Heather was so excited to see my grandparents at the reception.
You may wonder what makes weddings in the south so special.
It's the FOOD!
And the food here was FAB!
The menu included cheese grits, a gumbo bar, and stuffed grouper.
Makes me hungry again just thinking about it!
Here's my grandma with her brother, Uncle Bob ~ the grandfather of the bride.
Savanna and Tyson had a blast on the dance floor.
Tyson may act shy sometimes, but not on the dance floor ~ he definitely takes after his Daddy and likes to 'bust a move!'
Then Micah joined in on the fun with some of his breakdancing moves.

We had a great time celebrating and wish the new couple a lifetime of happiness.
