School Carnival

This year's school carnival was just simply "MOO-velous!"
Armed with a load of tickets, my kids were given only ONE strict rule:
Do not
I mean DO NOT
even THINK about playing the goldfish game!!!
Some of my friends will just have to 'live and learn'.
There were so many fun things to do everywhere you looked!
Our 4-H group brought in the animals for the petting zoo.

Savanna and Kayleigh have graduated to 'helper status' this year and assisted with the booths.
These crazy kool-aid filled bottles are always a bit hit.
It is definitely a sign of....ahem.... maturity, when you PICK, ON PURPOSE,
the blood pressure monitor as your prize in Bingo.
Micah's Third Grade class also entertained us during the carnival with their Falltastic play!

Check out our little farmer boy on the top right riser.

All the kids did a great job with their solos, speaking parts, and memorized poems.
But there was one little horse that just stole the show ~ not that I am biased or anything!

"Let's Go On A Hayride"

"Five Little Pumpkins"
Way to go Third Grade!
Micah made his way through all the booths and brought back enough bling to win a "Mr. T." look alike contest.
By the end of the night, he had acquired so many rings that he had to string them onto a necklace. This totally cracks me up since his Daddy refuses to wear any jewelry except his wedding band, watch, and seminary ring. Micah must have inherited my love for 'bling'!
Savanna finally left her post for just a short while to feed the baby animals at the petting zoo.
One new addition this year that was a BIG hit was the JAIL!
The paddy wagon came around 'arresting' people and throwing them in jail. The kids got a big kick out of arresting their parents, teachers, and friends!
Thanks to everyone who was a part of the planning team!
Rumor has it that the carnival raised over $7100 for our school!
