In HIS Steps Christmas Recital

God is just so good.
When we left Jacksonville 3 years ago, one of the things that I mourned was that we would also be leaving our Christian Dance Studio. It's not like every city has a CHRISTIAN Fine Arts Center. And let me just tell you that there is a VAST difference in the way they dance and dress not to mention the music that they perform to.
Well, the Lord provided a wonderful Christian Dance Studio named In HIS Steps only 30 minutes from us. We did that for a few years, but then started praying about having them come to use our church facility as a satellite campus.
When I contacted the owner, she said that she too had been praying about finding a campus to do classes here in the north end of the county.

Seriously, how big is our God?!

We got our first sneak peak of what our girls have been learning the past few months during. Their Christmas recital was so beautiful and moving. It was truly a worshipful experience.

Seriously, how cute are they stretching in between the pews?

Savanna and her best buddies

Savanna has gotten to be the apprentice teacher for the tiny tots class.
She absolutely loves it and is fantastic working with the girls!

I love this one of Savanna whispering something to Lily right before the performance.
I can't help but wonder what she is saying.

shhh! shhh!

The balcony was the hangout for the dad's with their video camera and the brothers.
Love this one of Micah peering over the balcony.

Savanna is the ballerina that is front and center

Grandma knows how to make a girl feel special!

After the recital, Mrs. Candy, our resident party planner invites us along with about 40 other to Whataburger. Oh how I wish I had thought to bring my camera there! We caused quite a scene with this rowdy bunch of dancin' baptists in the house!

  1. It was such a beautiful performance. All of the girls did a wonderfull job. We had a great time at whataburger after! Those poor people didn't have a clue as to what they were going to be dealing with when they went to work that evening!
